This documentary is based on the life of Antonia Ford during the American Civil War. Suspected as a Confederate spy, she was arrested and imprisoned and while there, falls in love with a Union Officer, Joseph Willard. Based on historical fact, the scenes and narratives depict espionage, polical intrigue, imprisonment, love and marriage, and death. We have created scenes that are authentic in period dress, furnishings, sounds and mannerisms. This film is based on Karla Vernon's book, The spy in Crinoline.
This film has been revised for TV broadcast and has a running time of 60 mins.
